         Tyre load and speed markings        

It is very important that the tyres fitted are the suitable for the maximum speed of the motorcycle, in some countrys this is a legal requirement.

The speed symbol is positioned next to the size designation in conjunction with the load index : e.g. 120/90-18 65H. "65" is the load index and "H" is the speed symbol. In the case of speed symbols "v" and "ZR", these are shown within the size designation, e.g. 190/50ZR17
